Dave Green of D. Green Woodworks is a high end woodcarver based in New York City. He has at times a large crew of woodcarvers, depending on the scope of his projects. With a carving studio in Brooklyn, New York, D. Green Woodworks provides carving services for New York City, the Greater New York Area, New England and North America.

Services include:

  • Hand carved moldings and architectural ornamental elements, including stair parts and newel post finials, fireplace mantels, doors, cabinets and other built-ins, interior and exterior carved woodwork.

  • Low relief (bas), medium (mezzo), high (alto), sunken/insized relief (cavo) and pierced relief woodcarvings for art or architectural purposes.

  • Sculpural carvings including portrature and figurative for architectural, built-in or stand alone pieces.

  • Historical preservation woodcarving including matching, patching or replacing missing or damaged carved elements.

  • Hand carved furniture components and designing and buiding custum carved furniture.

  • Design and project development including working with clients and designers, making drawings by hand, recommending motifs, moldings and elements in multiple styles like neoclassical, art nouveau, rococo, gothic revival and more.
